There are no set time expectations, but we would hope you could dedicate a few hours over the course of a year.
You don’t need any previous experience in research, administration or fundraising but you will need access to your own computer, email, and internet access.
A good local knowledge of Worcestershire would also be helpful but more importantly we are looking for people who are keen to help support their local hospitals charity.
In return, our charity team will provide all the support you need. We aim to give you a rewarding and interesting volunteering experience where you can develop new skills, meet new people, be part of a great team, and make a real difference by supporting your local hospital charity.
Before you become a volunteer, you will be invited to attend our Trust induction programme and will need to complete our E-Learning for Health modules.
Training is really important, because we want to make sure both you and our patients are safe. It helps us feel confident that you have all the info you need to carry out your volunteer activities safely, without putting anyone at risk.
Volunteering is a wonderful way to develop your skills, explore your interests, and make a meaningful impact in your community. It’s not just about giving back—it’s also an opportunity to build on your strengths, gain valuable experience, and showcase qualities like initiative, teamwork, and commitment.
Whether you’re looking to enhance your professional development, grow your confidence, or simply try something new, volunteering allows you to use your unique skills while learning and growing along the way.
