Fundraising - DIY events and Community Partnerships

Whether you are fundraising with your friends and family or at your school or workplace your efforts will make a huge difference to staff and patients.

Fundraising in the Community

Get out and about with your fundraising! You could organise a bucket collection or your own fundraising stall at a local event. Why not plan your own small event such as a band night, pub quiz or sports tournament? Declutter and raise funds with a charity car boot sale or eBay sale or you could try your hand at a bake sale for your friends and colleagues.

Sponsored Challenges

Set yourself a challenge that means something to you and ask for sponsorship. It could be a sponsored run, swim or cycle or something completely different like a head shave or wax. Maybe it could be a challenge to give up something you love for a month such as takeaway coffees or reality TV!

Schools Fundraising

Pupils, parents or teachers can all get involved with supporting Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity. Fundraising ideas could include a sponsored walk or toddle, a pupils v’s teachers challenge, a good old bake sale or an awareness raising assembly.

Whatever you can do to support your local hospital charity will be very much appreciated and raise much needed funds. But fundraising doesn’t have to be just about the money. Raising awareness of the charity and the work we do in your local community will also make a huge difference.

Don’t forget we are here to help so please get in touch. You can also download our Fundraising Toolkit for more ideas and inspiration as well as handy tips and advice.
