   At Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity, we are excited to invite you to take part in our very first international challenge event, delivered in partnership with Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity. 


Kilimanjaro 2027

Two counties, One Summit!


Monday 20th September - Thursday 30th September 2027


Whether you're a seasoned trekker or eager to take on a new challenge, this is your chance to tick climbing Kilimanjaro off your bucket list and join us for this unforgettable adventure to Africa's highest peak! 


Standing proud at 5,895m, Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the the world's most iconic summits. 

You'll take on the stunning Lemosho route, a breathtaking journey through diverse landscapes - while raising funds for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity. 


You can choose to support any area of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust; just let us know which area matters most to you!

Costs and Fundraising Options

Costs

£800 Non-refundable deposit

Paid to 360 Expeditions at sign-up. Can split over 2 months.

£3,295 Total trip cost

Flights & all land costs included

£2,495 Remaining balance

The deposit is deducted from the total flight and land cost, and the remaining balance is due 2-4 months prior to departure. Payment plans are available.


Fundraising options:

Self-funded

You pay for the trip and your fundraising is purely for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity.


  • Pay the £800 deposit at sign-up
  • Pay the remaining £2,495 before departure
  • Commit to raising a minimum of £1,000 in sponsorship 


*None of your fundraising can be used to cover the cost of the trip

Sponsorship-funded

Your fundraising cover the trip, and the rest goes to Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity. 


  • Pay the £800 non-refundable deposit
  • Commit to raising a minimum of £5,000
  • Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity pays your £2,495 trip cost
  • Remaining £2,505 to Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity

Any shortfall in sponsorship-funded option must be topped up 2 months prior to departure, or the place is forfeited.
