Volunteering

  Join us as a Charity Champion volunteer and help support Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity at local events and fundraising activities. 

Whether you assist at stalls, collect donations, or represent the charity, you can choose how you get involved. 

However you help, you’ll be making a real difference! 

 Help drive fundraising efforts by researching local groups, businesses, and events, identifying opportunities for charity involvement, and assisting with grant applications. 

This flexible role lets you contribute in your own time—just a few hours over the year can make a big impact! 

 Why not inspire as a Charity Community Educator and help spread the word about Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity by delivering talks to local groups and schools, booking speaking engagements, or representing the charity at events. 

Whether you do one or all of these, it's up to you! There’s no set commitment—just one or two presentations a year can make a huge difference! 

 Join us in raising awareness for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity by manning information stands at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, or Kidderminster Treatment Centre. 

You’ll engage with visitors, answer questions, direct them to donation stations, and help with set-up and pack-down. 

You can choose which site to support and how often—ideally around one event a month during busier seasons. 

 Are you aged 16-25 and ready to make a real impact? 

Join us as a Youth Charity Champion and support your local hospital’s charity! You’ll assist with local events, from registration and ticket checking to fundraising activities, event prep, and raising awareness. 

You’ll also help source raffle prizes, design promotional materials, and encourage donations. 

Whether you’re promoting the charity at school, assisting with collections, or sharing feedback, you’ll be making a difference.  

 Everyone has a personal reason for supporting a charity, and as a Charity Storyteller, we’d love for you to share yours!
